Taking Measurements for a Dress Shirt
Taking your own body measurements at home may
seem intimidating, but it's actually quite
simple. If possible, ask a friend to help you. Stand up straight and keep your arms slightly bent at your side. When
measuring, keep the tape sung but not tight. Do not add an
allowance to your measurements, let us take care of the
tailoring. Most importantly, stay relaxed. Don't worry, if you
make a mistake, we'll correct it for free.
* The instructions above are for body measurements. For the best fit, please take your measurements while standing in a natural position. Do not add an allowance to your results.

| While looking straight ahead, wrap the tape around your neck at its fullest, where the top of the collar will go. | Measure all the way around your chest, high under the arms, above the shoulder blades. | Place the tape snuggly around your waistline, usually a few inches above your belt. | Roll the tape around your hips at the widest point. |
